        <description>L3DTVi2 is a free and open-source terrain rendering program for displaying L3DT-generated maps. It was originally written by Stuart Gooding in late-2003, and since been hacked occasionally, and usually quite poorly, by Aaron Torpy.

L3DTVi2 is written in Delphi using the GLScene library. To render terrain, L3DTVi2 uses GLScene's terrain renderer, which includes a hybrid ROAM - brute force tessellation method that gives distant horizons while maintaining moderate triangle counts.</description>
